Leisure airline Edelweiss is systematically expanding its network as part of its 2026 summer flight program.
\nTravelers from Zurich will benefit from three new destinations, as well as increased frequencies and longer seasons on several existing routes.<\/p>\n
From summer 2026, Edelweiss will be adding three new destinations to its range.<\/p>\n
Glasgow<\/strong> will be served from May 29 to September 14, 2026<\/strong>, with flights on Mondays and Fridays<\/strong>. With Kefalonia<\/strong>, Edelweiss completes its offer in Greece with a new Ionian island. On long-haul routes, Edelweiss has announced the addition of Windhoek<\/strong> to its schedule. On short and medium-haul routes, Edelweiss is mainly strengthening its offer to Southern Europe. In Corsica, the season to Calvi<\/strong> has been extended until the autumn vacations. The Azores<\/strong> remain a key summer destination, with up to four flights a week<\/strong> to Ponta Delgada<\/strong> and Terceira<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Edelweiss is also increasing frequencies to several other European destinations. Bergen<\/strong>, Zadar<\/strong> and Tbilisi<\/strong> will now be served three times a week<\/strong>. Bristol<\/strong>, integrated into the network since summer 2025, will be offered from Easter<\/strong> and operated throughout the summer season.<\/p>\n The season to Varna<\/strong>, Bulgaria, will start on June 7, 2026<\/strong>, while Santiago de Compostela<\/strong>, Spain, will remain on the program until the autumn vacations.<\/p>\n In North America, Edelweiss consolidates several routes. Seattle<\/strong> will be back on the schedule from June 1, 2026<\/strong>, and will be served three times a week<\/strong> from June 25<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Halifax<\/strong> will remain on the schedule until October 18, 2026<\/strong>, also covering the autumn season. Vancouver<\/strong> will be served from May 5, 2026<\/strong>, and will increase to a daily flight from June 13<\/strong>. This increase is due in particular to strong summer demand and the 2026 Football World Cup, which Vancouver will be hosting. <\/p>\n Existing long-haul routes to Tampa Bay<\/strong>, Denver<\/strong>, Las Vegas<\/strong> and Calgary<\/strong> also remain on the schedule.<\/p>\n In the Caribbean, Edelweiss is banking on continuity. \nFrom June 1, 2026<\/strong>, the Namibian capital will be served twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays<\/strong>. This new route complements existing African services to Cape Town, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. <\/p>\nMore frequencies and extended seasons in Europe<\/h2>\n
\nFaro<\/strong> will now be served daily during the summer vacations, while Kalamata<\/strong> will enjoy three weekly flights<\/strong> from mid-May.<\/p>\n
\nNew flights to Figari<\/strong> have also been added, with two weekly rotations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\nLarnaca<\/strong> will benefit from an additional flight from July onwards.<\/p>\nStrengthening our long-haul business<\/h2>\n
