For summer 2026, Air France and KLM are strengthening their service to Switzerland from Geneva, Zurich and Basel, with more frequencies and greater access to the global network, meeting the needs of both business and leisure travelers.<\/p>\n
This change in Air France KLM’<\/strong> s service to Switzerland for summer 2026<\/strong> is part of a strategy to develop the network and improve international connectivity.<\/p>\n Geneva<\/strong>: up to eight daily flights operated by Air France and six by KLM.<\/p>\n Zurich<\/strong>: up to four daily Air France and six KLM flights, plus two daily Delta Air Lines flights to New York and Atlanta.<\/p>\n Basel-Mulhouse<\/strong>: up to two daily flights operated by Air France and four by KLM.<\/p>\n Air France offers nearly 170 destinations in 73 countries<\/strong>. The long-haul offer continues to grow, with a 2% increase in available seat-kilometres compared with summer 2025, driven in particular by the development of routes to North and South America. <\/p>\n The summer season will see the opening of a new direct service between Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Las Vegas<\/strong>, operated three times a week by Airbus A350-900 from April 15, 2026. Las Vegas thus becomes Air France’s 19th destination in the United States and 26th in North America. <\/p>\n From June 2026, a second daily frequency will be added to New York Newark<\/strong>. Air France will offer up to 11 daily flights between Paris CDG and New York JFK and Newark airports, in cooperation with Delta Air Lines. <\/p>\n Due to the security situation and the closure of certain airspaces in the Middle East, Air France has suspended its routes to Dubai, Riyadh, Tel Aviv and Beirut<\/strong> until the beginning of April 2026.<\/p>\n Since the beginning of this situation, the company has boosted capacity to several Asian destinations, with additional flights to Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Manila<\/strong> and Nairobi<\/strong>. Larger-capacity aircraft have also been deployed on certain routes. <\/p>\n This strategy will continue during the summer season, with increased frequencies to Bangkok, Singapore, Bangalore, Tokyo and Osaka<\/strong>, as well as the use of larger-capacity aircraft on certain routes to India.<\/p>\n For its part, KLM will offer a program of 164 destinations<\/strong> between March 29 and October 25, 2026, including 96 European and 68 intercontinental destinations. Capacity is expected to increase by almost 5%. <\/p>\n KLM introduces three new destinations: Jersey, Santiago de Compostela and Oviedo<\/strong>, while increasing frequencies to Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, Cork and Cape Town<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The airline will also offer daily flights to Cagliari<\/strong> and Portland<\/strong>.
