Mauritius’ national airline announces the resumption of flights between Geneva and Mauritius from mid-October 2025. Excellent news for travellers in search of sun and exoticism, just one night’s flight from Switzerland.
A long-awaited return to a direct line
After an interruption of several years, Air Mauritius is relaunching its direct Geneva-Mauritius route, with a weekly flight every Saturday. This frequency may be adapted according to demand, particularly during the high season.
Flights will be operated by Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, configured in two classes: business and economy. Passengers will benefit from quality services, in line with the Mauritian airline’s reputation for warm hospitality.
A popular year-round destination
Mauritius seduces with its diversity of landscapes, its mixed culture and its hospitality. Accessible without any significant time difference, it is an ideal destination in both summer and winter, for seaside breaks or discovery tours.
With the resumption of flights, Swiss travellers will be able to reach the Indian Ocean more easily, non-stop, with a national airline that is fully aware of its customers’ expectations.
