Emirates Increases Flights to Madagascar

18 Jan 2025 | Airlines

In response to growing demand, Emirates has announced the addition of two more weekly flights between Dubai and Antananarivo, increasing the total to six flights per week starting April 2, 2025. This decision follows the successful launch of the route in September 2024, initially operated four times a week.

Flight Schedule

Flight EK707 will depart from Dubai International Airport (DXB) daily at 08:55, heading to Seychelles International Airport (SEZ), arriving at 13:35. After a stopover, the flight will continue to Antananarivo (TNR) at 15:05 (except Mondays), arriving at 16:50.

The return flight, EK708, will depart TNR at 18:35 (except Mondays), arriving at SEZ at 22:20, before continuing to DXB at 23:50, landing at 04:20 the following day. Additionally, an extra flight is scheduled every Monday at 21:45 from SEZ, arriving at DXB at 02:15 the next day.

Increased Capacity

The current four weekly flights are operating at high occupancy rates. The addition of these new frequencies aims to provide travelers with greater flexibility in planning their trips. This expansion also supports Madagascar’s initiatives to attract more visitors to the island.

With the increased number of flights, Emirates now offers enhanced capacity for both passengers and cargo, facilitating trade and tourism between Madagascar and the rest of the world.
