Etihad Airways is boosting its service from Geneva during the winter period, with additional flights operated by Airbus A321LR (Long Range). These rotations complement the existing daily Boeing 787 service.

An evening flight three times a week in winter

During the winter season, Etihad adds a convenient evening departure from Geneva three days a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flight departs Geneva at 9.15pm, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 6.45am the following day.

The corresponding return flight leaves Abu Dhabi at 2.30pm on the same days, landing in Geneva at 6.50pm. These new rotations are in addition to the daily morning flight operated by Boeing 787.

Enhanced connectivity via Abu Dhabi

Combined with the existing daily service, these schedules improve connectivity via the Abu Dhabi hub. Passengers benefit from optimized access to numerous destinations in Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean, including: Bangkok, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, the Maldives, Colombo, Jakarta, Manila, Muscat as well as major Indian cities.

The Airbus A321LR: comfort and technology on board

The Airbus A321LR deployed on the Geneva – Abu Dhabi route is configured with 160 seats and offers :

  • 2 private First Suites with sliding doors,
  • 14 Business Class seats with direct aisle access,
  • 144 Economy seats.

First and Business cabins are transformed into fully flat beds. All classes benefit from large 4K entertainment screens, Bluetooth audio pairing, high-speed Wi-Fi connection and USB charging sockets.

Two daily flights from March 2026

From March 30, 2026, Etihad will further strengthen this route with daily flights by Airbus A321LR during the summer period. This development will make it possible to offer two daily frequencies between Abu Dhabi and Geneva.

On the morning rotation, the airline will continue to operate a daily Boeing 787 service, configured with 8 First, 28 Business and 190 Economy seats.
