Qatar Airways Expands Flights to the Maldives, Florida, and Japan

For the winter 2024/25 season, Qatar Airways is increasing its flights to dream destinations: Malé, Miami, and Tokyo. “By expanding our offering for winter holidays, we are meeting our passengers’ expectations for unforgettable travel experiences,” explains Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways.

More Flights to Malé (Maldives)

Starting December 13, 2024, Qatar Airways will increase from 21 to 28 weekly flights to Malé (MLE), providing passengers with daily and flexible access to the paradise islands of the Maldives.

  • Doha (DOH) to Malé (MLE) – QR672: departure at 01:35; arrival at 08:15
  • Malé (MLE) to Doha (DOH) – QR673: departure at 20:15; arrival at 23:10

Increased Flights to Miami (Florida)

As of December 16, 2024, flights to Miami (MIA) will increase from ten to twelve per week, with additional departures on Mondays and Wednesdays, enhancing access to Florida.

  • Doha (DOH) to Miami (MIA) – QR781: departure at 01:20; arrival at 09:50
  • Miami (MIA) to Doha (DOH) – QR782: departure at 23:30; arrival at 21:05 (+1)

New Schedule for Tokyo (Japan)

Starting February 14, 2025, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Tokyo Narita (NRT) from seven to eleven per week, offering more travel options to Japan’s capital.

  • Doha (DOH) to Tokyo (NRT) – QR808: departure on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 20:15; arrival at 11:55
  • Tokyo (NRT) to Doha (DOH) – QR809: departure on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 16:25; arrival at 23:10
