Swiss Orders a Total of 10 Airbus A350-900 for Its Fleet

Swiss is strengthening its long-haul fleet with the acquisition of five additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft, adding to the five already on order. This strategic investment is part of the Lufthansa Group’s development plans.

A More Modern and Sustainable Fleet

“With these new aircraft, our fleet is entering a new era. This is an essential investment to meet the high expectations of our passengers. The Airbus A350-900, equipped with innovative cabins, offers maximum comfort while being more sustainable and cost-efficient,” said Jens Fehlinger, CEO of Swiss.

Gradual Delivery Schedule

The ten aircraft will be delivered progressively between summer 2025 and the end of 2031. Swiss is currently determining the routes that will benefit from these new planes, offering passengers an improved and more sustainable travel experience.
