Swiss Resumes Flights to Tel Aviv

17 Jan 2025 | Airlines

After carefully evaluating the situation in the Middle East, Swiss and the Lufthansa Group have decided to resume flights to and from Tel Aviv starting February 1, 2025. This decision follows several months of suspension due to regional tensions.

Daily Flights to Tel Aviv

Swiss will operate a daily flight between Zurich and Tel Aviv using Airbus A320 aircraft. These flights will be conducted without overnight layovers for the crew, ensuring efficient and secure rotations.

Suspension of Beirut Flights Continues

In contrast, flights to and from Beirut remain suspended until further notice. While Swiss has resumed flying over Israeli airspace, it continues to avoid Lebanese airspace for safety reasons.

This decision highlights Swiss’s commitment to ensuring the safety of its passengers and crew while restoring essential travel connections for its customers.
