In 2025, Edelweiss will celebrate its 30th anniversary by modernizing its fleet with the introduction of six ultra-modern Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This milestone marks a new era for the Swiss airline, combining innovation, comfort, and sustainability.

First Flight Scheduled for April 2025

The very first flight of Edelweiss’s Airbus A350-900 will connect Zurich to Tenerife on April 1, 2025. During the first three months, the aircraft will operate on short and medium-haul routes to allow crews to train and adapt to the new plane.

Deployment to Long-Haul Destinations

Starting in July 2025, Edelweiss’s Airbus A350 will begin long-haul flights, with Las Vegas as its first intercontinental destination. Vancouver will soon follow, expanding options for passengers traveling to North America.

A Fleet Focused on the Future

The introduction of the A350 reflects Edelweiss’s commitment to providing an enhanced travel experience. The aircraft is designed to significantly reduce its environmental footprint through lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions.
With the arrival of these six aircraft, Edelweiss continues to innovate to meet the expectations of its passengers while contributing to a more sustainable future.
