The airline expands its schedule with a sixth weekly flight starting in July 2025.

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest African airline, is strengthening its presence at Geneva Airport by adding a new route starting in July 2025.

An additional flight every Friday

From July 2025, Geneva Airport will offer six flights per week to Addis Ababa, scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday: route Manchester – Geneva – Addis Ababa – Geneva – Manchester (MAN-GVA-ADD-GVA-MAN).
  • Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday: non-stop flights between Geneva and Addis Ababa (GVA-ADD-GVA).

Optimized connectivity to Africa and the Indian Ocean

With this additional Friday flight, Ethiopian Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, enhances travel options for its passengers. This new frequency strengthens connections to Ethiopia as well as to a wide network of African and Indian Ocean destinations accessible via the Addis Ababa hub.
