Etihad Airways boosts flights to Geneva with Airbus A321LR

New evening departure from Geneva for greater flexibility.

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Etihad Airways has strengthened its flights between Abu Dhabi and Geneva with the introduction of its new Airbus A321LR today, further enhancing connectivity on this key European route.

During the winter period, the additional flights operated by theA321LR complement Etihad’s existing daily Boeing 787 service, adding a convenient evening departure from Geneva three days a week.

The evening flight departs Geneva at 9.15pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Abu Dhabiat 6.45am the following day. The corresponding afternoon flight departs Abu Dhabi at 2.30pm on the same days, arriving in Geneva at 6.50pm.

Combined with the daily morning Boeing 787 rotation, this schedule improves connectivity via Abu Dhabi, with access to destinations such as Bangkok, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, the Maldives, Colombo, Jakarta, Manila, Muscat and major Indian cities.

From March 30, 2026, Etihad will further strengthen the route with daily flights by Airbus A321LR during the summer period, offering a constant operation with double daily frequency between Abu Dhabi and Geneva.

The Airbus A321LR introduces Etihad’s latest in-flight product on the Geneva route, offering a premium experience in a compact single-aisle aircraft. The 160-seat configuration includes two private First Suites with sliding doors, 14 Business seats with direct aisle access and 144 Economy seats.

First and Business cabins convert to fully flat beds, while all cabins feature large 4K entertainment screens, Bluetooth audio pairing, high-speed Wi-Fi and USB charging.

Etihad continues to operate a daily Boeing 787 service between Abu Dhabi and Geneva, offering a three-cabin configuration with eight First, 28 Business and 190 Economy seats on the morning rotation.

The expanded Geneva program is part of Etihad’s wider network ambition, offering greater flexibility to travelers while supporting the continued growth of tourism in Abu Dhabi.
