Edelweiss is adapting its network and reinforcing some of its long-haul routes by developing capacity to destinations in high demand. This follows recent adjustments to its schedule, notably the elimination of flights to Denver and Seattle.
From July 3, 2026, the airline will offer two new weekly flights to the Maldives, operated on Tuesdays and Fridays. This increase in frequency is in response to growing interest in this emblematic Indian Ocean destination.
The route to Windhoek in Namibia will also be strengthened. From July 15, 2026, Edelweiss will add a third weekly flight, with an extra rotation on Wednesdays, to complement the existing Monday and Friday flights.
A program tailored to seasonal demand
For autumn 2026, Edelweiss plans to introduce additional flights to several Indian Ocean destinations. This adaptation is designed to meet seasonal demand, particularly for beach holidays during this period.
The company is thus pursuing a strategy of dynamic adjustment of its offer, concentrating capacity on the most attractive destinations at different times of the year.
Strengthening short-haul destinations
On the short- and medium-haul network, Edelweiss is also increasing capacity to several popular tourist destinations. These include Faro, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Newquay, Bergen and Santiago de Compostela.
Other adjustments to the short-haul flight schedule are regularly studied in order to adapt to changes in demand.
Flights are now available for booking on the website flyedelweiss.com as well as through the usual sales channels.
