Emirates strengthens its commitment to South Africa by adding a fourth daily flight to Johannesburg. Starting March 1, 2025, the airline will offer even more flexibility for travelers, with premium travel options on the route, partially operated by the prestigious Airbus A380.
A Fourth Daily Flight to Johannesburg
With the addition of a new daily flight, Emirates will now provide 708 additional seats each day between Dubai and Johannesburg. This fourth flight, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER configured in three classes, allows passengers to enjoy high-quality service with even more connection options.
New Flight Schedules
Flight EK767 will depart Dubai at 00:10, arriving in Johannesburg at 06:20. For the return, flight EK768 will take off from Johannesburg at 10:15, landing in Dubai at 20:15, offering increased flexibility for travelers.
Access to Numerous African Destinations through Partnerships
Passengers heading to Johannesburg will have the opportunity to connect to 60 other regional destinations in Africa, thanks to several Emirates codeshare and interline agreements.
Partnership with South African Airways
In place since 1997, the partnership with South African Airways is one of Emirates’ longest-standing agreements, facilitating optimized connections for passengers across Africa.
Airlink, Cemair, and FlySafair: Access to Regional Cities
Through a codeshare agreement with Airlink, Emirates offers connections to 44 additional regional destinations. The interline agreement with Cemair enables passengers to reach leisure destinations like Margate and Plettenberg Bay, while the agreement with FlySafair covers interior cities like Port Elizabeth, East London, and George.
