Thanks to Edelweiss, traveling from Zurich to Kefalonia is now a new option for the summer. The Swiss airline has launched its first direct route to this Greek island in the Ionian Sea, with seasonal service running through mid-September.
The first flight, WK338, took off from Zurich on Saturday shortly after 5:00 p.m., with 149 passengers on board an Airbus A320. This new route complements Edelweiss’s service to Greece and provides easier access to a destination that remains unspoiled, prized for its beaches, natural landscapes, and a more intimate atmosphere than some of the more popular Greek islands.

With this new route, Edelweiss is expanding its summer schedule from Zurich. Up to two flights a week are now available between Zurich and Kefalonia, making it easier for travelers to reach one of the most beautiful islands in the Ionian Sea.
