Air France will extend its direct flight between Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, by five weeks. Originally scheduled to run from November 30, 2026, to March 27, 2027, the seasonal service will now continue through May 1, 2027.
This extension is good news for travelers who want to enjoy the Caribbean sun this spring. In particular, it covers part of the spring school break in most French-speaking cantons, a time that is especially popular for beach vacations.
Three flights a week on a Boeing 777
The route between Paris-CDG and Punta Cana will be operated three times a week using Boeing 777 aircraft. This schedule, planned for the 2026–27 winter season, will remain in effect during the five-week extension.
Air France had resumed this route in January 2026 after a two-year hiatus. By extending its schedule through early May, the airline is expanding its booking window for flights to the Dominican Republic from late November through May 1.
Punta Cana, a sure bet in the Caribbean
