Edelweiss A320neo: the airline took delivery in Zurich of its first Airbus A320neo, HB-JDB, from Norwich, UK, where it was painted in Edelweiss colors.
With the arrival of this aircraft, Switzerland’s leading leisure airline enters a new phase in the modernization of its short- and medium-haul fleet. The Airbus A320neo represents a new generation of aircraft characterized by increased efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

Thanks to cutting-edge engine technology and aerodynamic improvements, the Airbus A320neo consumes significantly less fuel. As a result, it reduces CO₂ emissions and noise pollution compared with previous generations.
The new aircraft also offers benefits for passengers, with a modern cabin, enhanced comfort and a more pleasant travel experience.
The first commercial flight of Edelweiss’s new Airbus A320neo took place on Saturday, with a first rotation to Larnaca in the morning, followed by Rhodes in the afternoon.
Edelweiss plans to add six Airbus A320neo aircraft to its fleet by 2028.
